John McCain has been trying to endear himself to us on the right for a long time. He recently made a foray into right wing land by proclaiming that Viagra was medicine, but birth control was a lifestyle choice. His tortured logic and embarrassing rhetoric in front of a bunch of female types almost made me laugh. His inability to formulate a coherent thought brought to mind June Cleaver translating for a bunch of jive talkers.Except that McCain isn't funny and adorable. He's just sad.
Essentially, even though I hate John McCain and wish him ill--Cindy, please look into rat poison--I must agree with him on principle. Even as a woman, I think that men are entitled to hardons before women are entitled to control what happens with their hoohas.
Afterall, if you give women birth control, they will just end up becoming sluts, sleeping around, and being generally like, well, men.
If you give men Viagra, they will wisely use their wood to teach women a lesson, and show why men should run the world.
I guess McCain has a vested interest in making Viagra available but not birth control. There is no way of knowing in how many harbors McCain has laid anchor.
Time will tell if this is a wise move. But in the end, I think the Hillary supporters will probably not support McCain over Obama.
