Farah Fawcett has succumbed to cancer and died at age 62.The blond sex symbol of the 1970's has been ill for some time with cancer, which spread throughout her body. She was recently the subject of a television movie, chronicling her battle with the disease.
She is survived by her long time companion, Ryan O'Neal, her son, Redmond, and her ex-husband, Lee Majors.
Farrah shot to fame as one of the original detectives in the ABC drama "Charlie's Angels." She later earned critical acclaim as an abused wife who takes revenge on her husband in the controversial television drama "The Burning Bed."

I had that poster when I was younger. She fought her cancer fiercely and with nobility.
